The Union Haddiema Maghqudin yesterday said that despite months of negotiations with the Office of the Prime Minister and the Health Division, no agreement had been reached on the allowance pay for care workers.
The UHM said the last time a meeting was held was six months ago and the OPM was supposed to send a written answer to the union on the issue, but this never materialised.
The union said that each week it was promised an answer, but it never received one. Such attitudes and inefficiency were leading to adverse industrial relations, the union said, adding that in the face of such a situation, it would have to order more industrial action.
