The Cathedral Museum at Mdina is holding the Sixth Biennale of Contemporary Christian Art which will be officially opened by Cardinal Francesco Marchisano on Sunday 11 March.
A pontifical High Mass for artists, their friends and persons interested in this international venue will be concelebrated with Archbishop Mgr Paul Cremona OP at 9.30am at the Cathedral, Mdina, followed by the said official opening at 11am.
This exhibition, held in the basement of the Cathedral Museum, will be open to the general public from 12 March till 7 April between 9.30am and 4.30pm, excluding Sundays and public holidays. On Saturdays the closing time is at 3.30pm. Visitors of the cathedral’s Altar of Repose, on Good Friday, may also visit this exhibition from 9.30am till 1pm. The usual catalogue, presenting colour reproductions of all participating works will be available from the museum.
