The Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise and the Malta Federation of Industry are holding a workshop entitled “Fostering Successful Synergies with Chinese Businesses”.
The workshop is directly addressed at business operators interested in possible areas of collaboration with Chinese counterparts which may include, among others Import/export; Logistics/marketing of Chinese products to Europe and North Africa; manufacturing opportunities in China; and Service industry, retail or franchising opportunities in China.
The event will be held at The Exchange, Republic Street, Valletta on Wednesday at 4pm, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is expected to last under two hours and will be addressed by Karl Xuereb, Malta’s Ambassador to China, who will explain his personal experiences and views on the opportunities awaiting Maltese entrepreneurs interested in doing business with China.
The event is being held to obtain expressions of interest from Maltese firms interested in joining a business trade delegation to China. The visit is scheduled to take place during the second part of May to coincide with the official visit of Foreign Affairs Minister Michael Frendo to one or more commercial centres in China.
