Several airlines are transferring their flights from the old Terminal 1 to the new Terminal 2 before the summer schedule comes into effect.

Airlines transferring their operations to the new terminal are: Rossiya Airlines (starting 1 March), Aegean Airlines (4 March), Alitalia (7 March), CSA (12 March), EL AL (14 March), Aeroflot (20 March), Malev (March 21), Air France (March 23), Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and LOT (March 25), Air Malta (26 March), British Airways and Aerosvit (28 March) and Olympic Airlines (30 March).
