Marsovin Wines and Bulgarian gastronomy

Malta Independent Sunday, 18 March 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

Marsovin wines complemented perfectly the Bulgarian cuisine prepared specifically to celebrate Bulgaria’s National Day which marks the proclamation of an autonomous Bulgarian principality on 3 March 1878, and was celebrated in Malta with a Bulgarian/Maltese theme night at the Ariana Restaurant, in Sliema.

A delicious four-course meal, prepared by Bulgarian chef

(Maistor Gotvach) Miloslav

Madjarov, was accompanied by Bulgarian music and Marsovin wines.

Marsovin’s wine specialist Aaron Rizzo teamed up with the Ariana Restaurant to ensure that the wines chosen were in total harmony with the Bulgarian cuisine.

Mr Rizzo briefed the guests about the philosophy of Marsovin, the commitment to quality and to the culture of wine. He specified the fact that Antonin Blanc, Cheval Franc and Marnisi are produced from single estates totally owned and managed by Marsovin.

It was a truly enjoyable

gastronomic evening.
