Nothing has filtered out from the police’s intensive investigations into the murder of Larissa Safronova, the 25-year-old Russian woman whose body was recovered from the sea on 8 March.

Although a number of persons, reported variously as two, three and five, have been investigated by the police in connection with the woman’s death, no one has so far been charged with the murder.

Russian sources have told this newspaper the investigators are not sure the victim is Russian. They are trying to find out where she come from and to trace any relatives she may have.
