Chief Justice Vincent De Gaetano is in Luxembourg as the guest of the Court of Justice of the European Communities for a two-day symposium organised as part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome.
Participants at the symposium will discuss the influence of national law and the case-law of member states of the EU on the interpretation of community law.
In his absence, Mr Justice Joseph David Camilleri will be acting Chief Justice.
