The prices of petrol and diesel are to remain unchanged until May.

This prices of petrol and diesel will thus remain as they were in January.

Although international oil prices remain relatively high, they were stable in the past few months, and always below the highest prices registered in 2006.

Oil prices:

Unleaded petrol — 42c6 each litre

Lead Replacement Petrol — 45c6 per litre

Diesel — 38c9 per litre

Petroleum — 39c per litre

Light heating oil — 24c1 per litre

Thin Fuel Oil (200 deg) — Lm135 per tonne

Thin Fuel Oil (450 deg) — Lm 126 per tonne

Thin Fuel Oil (900 deg) — Lm 115.50 per tonne
