One lane of the Santa Venera tunnels, in the direction of St Julian’s, will be closed to traffic from tomorrow until 17 April, Enemalta Corpor-ation said yesterday, giving the reason as infrastructural work to be carried out in connection with the Mater Dei Hospital.

Public transport and traffic going in the direction from Marsa to St Julian’s will be diverted onto the right hand lane of the Regional Road prior to entry into the Santa Venera tunnels.

Access through the slip road from the Mriehel Bypass towards Regional Road in the direction of St Julian’s will be left unimpeded.
