Court: Man Charged with corrupting young boy and girl

A Zejtun man has been charged with corrupting a young boy and girl.

The 58-year-old, who cannot be named by court order, pleaded not guilty to corrupting an 11-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy in Marsascala on Monday.

The court, presided over by magistrate Tonio Micallef Trigona, ordered for the accused to be kept in preventive custody pending the case. Senior police inspector Anthony Cassar prosecuted while Dr Jason Azzopardi and Dr Kris Busietta appeared for the accused.
