An Eritrean man was seriously injured yesterday after he fell while playing football inside the Hal-Safi Barracks, police said.
Preliminary investigations showed the man, who is around 18 years old, was playing football when he fell and hit his head.
He was taken to St Luke’s Hospital by ambulance where he was certified to be in critical condition.
Duty Magistrate Silvio Meli appointed various experts to help in the inquiry.
Police investigations are still under way.
