The 11 boats participating in the GlobalCapital Gozo Weekend regatta witnessed a fantastic turn of fortune with good winds and sunny days to accompany skippers and their families and friends on the first Weekend race this sailing season organised by the Royal Malta Yacht Club.

Maltese Falcon II, skippered by Martin Scicluna and crewed by a young team of sailors placed first in the IRC Class A Division.

Artie, skippered by Lee Satariano placed first in the IRC Class B Division, Orlando skippered by Alexander Hall placed first in the IRC Class C Division and Nauti Buoy skippered by Robert Ciantar placed first in the Cruiser Class Division.

Second place in the IRC Class A, B, C and Cruiser divisions featured Primadonna, J-Lance, Sephora and Misty Blue respectively. While third place was awarded to Commanche Raider and Inspiration – in IRC Class A and B respectively.
