The final of the Premier Snooker Championship, organised by the Malta Billiards and Snooker Association, will be played today at the Count Roger Band Club in Rabat.

This year’s finalists are Alex Borg of Melita BC, who beat Simon Camilleri (Juventus Domus Zejtun) in the semi-final 5-3, and Simon Zammit of Jesmond SC after the latter got the better of Frans Mintoff (La Vallette BC) in the other semi-final.

Considering the international experience of both players, it is expected that this final will be a thrilling one, watched by a good crowd.

The match starts at 6pm.
