The Maltese distribution company Camilmac, has taken 80 machines from Spain’s R Franco to try out in Malta’s Monaco Millions bingo club.

Three models are on test: Bad Boys, Grave Robber and Reggie’s Lemonade.

They are connected to a bingo server and more titles are reportedly about to be added.

Automated games are legal in Maltese bingo clubs. Bingo is popular in the country and there are many clubs that have only two main restrictions: a minimum age of 18 to play and the need to register as a member before admittance.

Camilmac’s two principals, Ivan and Aaron Camilleri, are directing the experiment, which is being run through their Allied Games operation.

The company has over 900 machines in use and is gearing itself to replace them with new models, once the new video lottery terminal regulations are issued in Malta.
