Following the launch of HSDPA some months ago, Vodafone Malta Ltd has now upgraded its 3G coverage to HSDPA (3.5G) to give customers four times the connection speeds of 3G.
3G and HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) services were initially available in St Julian’s, Sliema, Gzira, Ta’ Xbiex, Msida, Hamrun, Marsa, Floriana and Valletta. As from today, these services are also available in Attard, Balzan, Gharghur, Luqa, Mosta, Naxxar, Pieta, San Gwann and St Paul’s Bay.
Vodafone customers can now benefit from faster download speeds and improved quality of sound and images made possible through the enhanced 3.5G services.
Among other features, customers can download full songs and large email attachments in seconds. HSDPA services can be accessed from mobile phones, PDAs or laptops equipped with the Vodafone Mobile Connect Card.
For further information, customers can go to the Vodafone website www.vodafone.com.mt or contact Vodafone Customer Service on 247 from their Vodafone or 9999-9247 from any other line.
