A 59-year-old Water Services Corporation employee was yesterday charged with defrauding the corporation of more than Lm1,000 after he allegedly falsified fuel vouchers he was entitled to as an “impressed” driver.
Marjanu Zahra from Qormi, was charged with falsifying the vouchers and using them to his advantage between July and September last year.
Police Inspector Maurice Curmi prosecuted and Dr Roberto Montalto appeared for the accused.
