A court has upheld a request for a warrant of prohibitory injunction to be issued against Malta Industrial Parks Ltd, preventing it from evicting a

furniture manufacturer from a factory in the Attard Industrial Zone.

The First Hall of the Civil Court, presided over by Madam Justice Anna Felice, upheld the request for the prohibitory injunction against MIP Ltd, stopping it from evicting Future Furniture Ltd from a factory.

The court declared that the company paid rent for the factory and that MIP Ltd had no right to evict the furniture company from the said factory.

Dr Edward Zammit Lewis represented Future Furniture Ltd while Dr John Bonello assisted MIP Ltd.
