Court: Conditionally Discharged for handling stolen diesel

A Gozitan man was conditionally discharged for one year after pleading guilty to handling more than Lm100 worth of stolen diesel in December last year.

Magistrate Edwina Grima heard Charles Camilleri, 43, from Kercem, plead guilty to handling the stolen diesel after prosecuting officer Josric Mifsud withdrew the first charge related to the theft of the diesel.

The magistrate took into consideration the early guilty plea filed by the accused as well as his relatively clean police record. She therefore conditionally discharged him for one year.

Police Inspector Josric Mifsud prosecuted.
