A year after their victory in the Discovery International Song Contest in Bulgaria, Trilogy (Roger Tirazona, Eleanor Spiteri and Daniel Debono, pictured right) are currently in Sicily to take part in the celebrated Lovers on Ice.

The magical evening, presented by Alessandro de Leonardis and Denny Mendez, Miss Italia 1996, is taking place this evening at the Palaghiaccio Citta di Catania.

The event transmits the emotions of music and lyrics through the beauty of ice-skating. European champions Aljona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy, together with other renowned skaters from Italy, Romania, the Czech Republic, France and Germany.

The organisers wished to include Malta in the list of international singers and chose Trilogy’s Starlight, composed by Paul Abela and penned by Joe Julian Farrugia.

Trilogy’s participation in this international event has been made possible with the help of Mr Amabile Zammit and Dr Anton Tabone of Renaissance Productions Ltd.
