BELS celebrated its 10th anniversary earlier this month. Present at the event were Minister for Gozo Giovanna Debono, Kercem mayor Joe Grima, FELTOM president John Dimech, and a large number of the school’s service providers. In the weeks leading up to its anniversary, BELS welcomed a number of language travel agents to the school who had travelled with the specific intention of learning more about what the school and Gozo had to offer their clients.
During her welcome address, Rebecca Brincat, one of the schools directors, spoke about the schools evolution from a boutique school that did not attract too many customers to one that now attracts customers of international standing from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, France, China, Japan, Romania, Poland, Norway, Korea, Russia and the Czech Republic. She added that the school not only provides its students with a healthy international mix but also an array of clients originating from international companies like Vodafone, Perrier, IBM, ABB, Novartis, Pfizer, Shell, Skoda, Siemens, Credit Suisse and the European Parliament.
