The newly opened Nove Wine & Beer Bar in St Julian’s, overlooking the picturesque Spinola Bay, has recently hosted the Photo Model of the Year 2007 event, organised by Modelle International in collaboration with Fotoclassic.

Forty male and female models participated in this competition, where models submitted portraits and full length photos to a specially selected panel of judges. Some of the photos submitted were taken in studios, whereas the rest were shot in different locations around the Maltese Islands. All photos were chosen by the models themselves.

Matthew Agius and Nina Ivanova were declared Photo Model of the Year 2007 (Male and Female section respectively), with Christabelle Borg and Jason Azzopardi first runners-up and Raisa Newell and Kurt Vassallo second runners-up.
