Court: Charged With threatening to shoot his father

A 24-year-old man from Birkirkara was yesterday granted bail after pleading not guilty to threatening to shoot his father.

Renaldo Camenzuli was charged with threatening to shoot his father Lawrence but was not in possession of any weapon or firearm at the time he allegedly uttered the words.

He was also accused of driving a vehicle dangerously and recklessly and of breaching the peace.

Magistrate Jacqueline Padovani granted Mr Camenzuli bail against a personal guarantee of Lm5,000.

Police Inspector Kevin Farrugia prosecuted while Dr Chris Cardona appeared for the accused.
