Two brothers were charged yesterday with stealing a tumble dryer from a house in Mosta earlier this year.

Gaetano Muscat, 31, from Marsascala and his brother Henry Muscat, 39, from Mosta, were charged with stealing the tumble dryer from a house in E.B. Vella Street in Mosta on 16 March, to the detriment of Melanie Caruana. They were also charged with damaging the house and breaching the peace.

Before magistrate Jacqueline Padovani, the men pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against them.

Police Inspector Paul Bond prosecuted while Dr Jose Herrera and Dr Deborah Delceppo appeared for the accused.
