A collective exhibition with the theme Trees and the Environment is being held by the Rural Affairs and the Environment Ministry at St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity in Valletta from tomorrow. The exhibition, being sponsored by the Bank of Valletta, forms part of the Environment Week programme of events.
It is being inaugurated by George Pullicino, Minister for Rural Affairs and the Environment tomorrow, featuring works by 20 artists. All works submitted for the exhibition are directly related to the concept of the environment and trees in general.
The bank’s sponsorship was presented by Joyce Tabone, manger responsible for Quality and Corporate Social Responsibility at Bank of Valletta, to Glenn Bugeja, coordinator of the national 34U Campaign within the MRAE.
The participating artists are Charles Sammut, Victor Sammut, Neville Ferry, Graham Woodall, Roberto Cippolone, Matthew Kassar, Isabel Borg, Marco Arcidiacono, Maurice Tanti Burlo, Richard Saliba, James Vella Clark, Luciano Micallef, Anna Galea, Pamela Calleja, Anthony P. Vella, Joe Spiteri Staines, Clyde Haber and Frans Galea.
The exhibition remains open for viewing till 1 July.
