The Malta Labour Party (MLP) will organise a major fund-raising event at the MLP headquarters on Sunday, 24 June to collect funds for their election campaign, deputy leader Michael Falzon said on Sunday during a public dialogue meeting in St Julian’s.

Dr Falzon pointed out that, during the past few years, the MLP had had strong political support from the public, as could be clearly seen by the three Labour MEPs and the Labour majority achieved in local council elections.

Through financial contributions that will be collected during the event, entitled Working Together Towards The Next General Election, the MLP will be able to prepare itself for the election, said Dr Falzon.

He urged the Maltese and Gozitan public to help the Labour Party, even through a small donation.

“Everyone who gives a donation to the MLP’s fund-raising campaign will be investing in their future,” said Dr Falzon.
