A French student presently studying in Malta yesterday pleaded guilty to damaging a taxi on Wednesday evening when he was drunk.
Maxime Le Ber, 22, who lives at the University Residence in Lija, pleaded guilty to damaging the taxi when he was drunk.
Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna conditionally discharged him for six months and ordered him to pay the taxi driver Lm120 to pay for the damage.
Police Inspector Ramon Mercieca prosecuted.
