The last big show for the Zoo team for this theatrical season is almost here, and it is a show that will surely end with a big bang.
The GO Zoo goes Wet is yet another satirical show that will entertain you and your friends for two whole hours. With comedy sketches by this versatile quartet, each show has a specific theme and this show will be about summer.
The Zoo shows are a mixture of genuine improvisation, faked improvisation, audience participation and cracking sketches. All the jokes are based on present situations, present political issues, present TV programmes, and all that we hear around us – all to be twisted and adapted to the Zoo version.
Once again, Chrysander Agius, Claire Agius Ordway, Daniel Chircop and Owen Bonnici will be portraying new and much loved characters. We will once again see the inappropriate behaviour of Suffaru and Tigiegu, two unique characters that we missed in the latest shows and that do not miss a single party organised in summer.
Rare moments of surreal melancholy could only come from Nikita who hails from Isla and her lousy boyfriend Roger – what needs fixing this time in their dirty, grotty home? Plus, did you know that an ice-cream vendor can describe the personality of someone just by the way they eat an ice-cream?
Around this time last year we saw ZOO goes Pregnant because the feminine element of the team was heavily pregnant. This summer another big event will be happening to the Zoo team and they will surely not miss the opportunity to create a sketch about it. You will be enjoying all this together with a few more technical surprises which they have been offering in each and every show. Last time they started off with a spectacular UV show. What will be next?
All will be revealed between 6 and 8 July at the Ta’ Qali Greek Theatre. For more information, ring 7979-0200. Or you can purchase tickets directly from Dual Zone at Hal Qormi and Paola, Right Deal at Iklin, Untours at Haz-Zabbar, Gio Batta Delia at Valletta and Rookies at Bugibba.
By the way, no one is going to get wet so there’s no need to wear your bikini.
