Final Phase of Madliena Village development starts

Malta Independent Sunday, 17 June 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

Since the British developer Andrew Cross took ownership of Madliena Village in 2005, he has invested heavily in upgrading the facilities and external finishes there. Now he has started to complete the development of the entire village as it was originally conceived in the nineties.

With all relevant permits recently approved, construction of the final phase has now started in earnest and completion is expected within the coming twelve months. The last two blocks being built offer a variety of 1, 2 and 3 bed-roomed luxury apartments, with prices starting from Lm100,000 including bathrooms, tiling and finishes.

These 36 apartments are now for sale "off plan" through appointed estate agents, with fully fitted out completions available from May 2008. A small number of apartments in the previously completed blocks are also available for sale finished.

All Madliena Village apartments enjoy huge terraces, offering spectacular views down the environmentally protected Gharghur and Madliena valleys, with views stretching as far as Gozo. Each apartment benefits from its own lock up garage and superb communal facilities.

Madliena Village was recently granted Special Designated Area status, which offers foreign buyers additional flexibility as regards purchase and letting.

Andrew Cross' company has embarked on an ambitious advertising programme in the UK, Scandinavia and Russia to generate leads. Interest from Maltese buyers is also very encouraging, especially in these new layout apartments, which now offer even better value.
