“The much awaited Gigi d’Alessio concert scheduled for August 11th at Manoel Island is in high demand.” This was stated by Chris Spiteri Director of MCK Promotions who are organising this event. All the VIP seats have been sold and due to popular demand, MCK Promotions have decided to increase this section by another 200 seats.

Gigi d’Alessio is a star in his homeland Italy, mostly owed to his participation in the San Remo Festival. He is widely popular locally too, and after discussions with MCK Promotions happily accepted to extend his Made in Italy tour to Malta.

The 11 August concert was designed as requested by the artist himself, who decided on Manoel Island since he prefers performing in historic places. Last week, Gigi d’Alessio’s stage engineer, Marizzio Carradi was in Malta to oversee the plans and preparations being undertaken in conjunction with this event.
