Over 50 American vehicles of all makes, some of which today are considered as classics, will be on show on Saturday, 7 July from 7pm at the Valletta Waterfront. It will be the fourth consecutive year the American Auto Club Malta is holding this annual event, on the occasion of Independence Day in the US.

Launched more than three years ago, the American Auto Club Malta's main focus is to preserve American vehicles and keep them on the road.

It also aims to foster more public appreciation for them.

The range of American vehicles on display will include Chevrolet, Ford, Pontiac, Dodge, Shelby, Cobra, Mercury, Plymouth, Oldsmobile, Buick, Freightliner, Mack, Lincoln, Chrysler and others.

They will include cars, pick ups, trucks, a dragster and modified vehicles, from the 1920s to models as recent as this year's.
