Pleads Guilty to threatening to kill a man

A man pleaded guilty yesterday to threatening to kill another man at 10am yesterday morning but not guilty to possessing an unlicenced firearm.

Before magistrate Anthony Vella, Joseph Bugeja, 40, from Mgarr, admitted threatening to kill John Giordimaina and defaming him.

He was granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm500.

Police Inspector Ramon Mercieca prosecuted while Dr Jose Herrera and Dr Veronique Dalli appeared for the accused.
