With just over three weeks to go till the end of the Silent Warriors exhibition, close to 60,000 visitors have already visited this grand exhibition which is currently mounted at the National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta. This works out to an average of 15,000 visitors a month or around 500 visitors a day.

The exhibition which opened to the public on 1 March features 10 soldiers, two horses and an array of other related artefacts that were excavated from Mount Lishan, the name of the necropolis which hosts the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.

In a bid to entice more locals and foreigners to visit this exhibition, Heritage Malta is extending the family ticket to every day of the week. Previously, the family ticket which sells for Lm7 (EUR16.31) was only available on weekends. The family ticket is valid for two adults and two children under the age of 12 years.

The National Museum of Archaeology is open from Monday to Sunday between 9am and 7pm. Last admission is at 6.30pm.
