The Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise’s Leisure and Tourism Economic Group (LTEG) yesterday congratulated everyone concerned, including Gozo Channel Ltd, for the introduction of the new shuttle bus service between Malta International Airport and Cirkewwa Harbour.

LTEG chairman Vincent Tabone said that “this long awaited essential service will hopefully increase tourism to the island of Gozo, thus making it easier for tourists arriving at the airport to avail themselves of a direct non-stop transport service.”

He added that the service would also be very useful to the many Gozitans who travel abroad and do not have their own transport.

Mr Tabone said similar initiatives are very important to enhance the tourism product on offer.
