After a few days with no reports of sightings on missing British girl Madeleine McCann in Malta, the police yesterday said that they had received one report yesterday.

In a statement, the police said they had received an anonymous report at 1.30pm that Madeleine, reported missing from a holiday resort in Portugal two months ago, was seen wearing a crash helmet and riding on a scooter near the roundabout at Ta’ Qali which leads to either Mosta or Mgarr.

Police investigations proved negative. The police said that investigations will continue.
