Bank of Valletta is supporting ‘Evenings on Campus 2007’ – a programme of cultural events including visual and performing arts aimed at bringing the University Campus to life during the summer months.

This 15th Edition of Evenings on Campus started last week with a Jazz night featuring the Marc Galea Elektric Band and a performance by Luigi Tessarollo, a prominent musician in the Italian Jazz scene. Theatrical performance, live bands, literary evenings, a musical programme by university students and the screening of movies of the ‘Film Noir’ genre, are amongst the highlights of this year’s edition.

Bank of Valletta’s sponsorship was presented by Carmel Borg, Manager of BOV’s University Branch to Dr. Simon Mercieca, out-going President of the Kunsill Kulturali Universitarju during the official launch of this year’s event. Also present was Karl Spiteri, Manager, Corporate Branding and Quality at Bank of Valletta, Ms Patricia Camilleri, President Kunsill Kulturali Universitarju and Anna Catania, Co-Ordinator of Evenings on Campus 2007.
