Last week, the last class graduated from the Pathway to Independent Living course at MCAST. It is the only course that is open to young adults with special needs and now, for some unknown reason, it is being closed down. It was a very emotional ceremony for all: teachers, students and parents. We all expressed how sad we felt that other young adults with special needs will not have the opportunity to benefit from this course. We sincerely hope that an alternative will be offered to these young people, who, when they are given the chance, can really prove themselves and show their full potential.
On behalf of all the other parents, I would like to congratulate them all.
