The Rural Affairs and Environment Ministry and HSBC Bank have joined forces to produce and distribute a leaflet giving advice on what people can do to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions that are the main cause of climate change.
The leaflet was originally produced for Environment Day and was distributed at activities organised by the ministry. It will now be re-printed and sent to all households, with the expenses shared between the ministry and the bank through its HSBC Cares for the Environment Fund.
The leaflet Tips about reducing greenhouse gases and climate change includes advice on what people should do to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the home, at the office and in the car. Such a reduction will also indirectly reduce electricity consumption.
