A Busy summer for Claudia Faniello

Malta Independent Saturday, 14 July 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

One of Malta’s top singers, Claudia Faniello is leaving Malta today to participate in Crotone’s Music Show in Italy for the second time in a row.

In this show, Claudia will be appearing with Mariangela (San Remo Giovani 2007), Pier Cortese, Francesco Addio and guest of honour Franco Califano. The show will be hosted by Massimo Proietto from Rai International and Denny Mendez (ex Miss Italia).

Claudia will perform her MSFE 07 entry, Imhabba Ghamja, co-written by Aldo Spiteri, Trevor Fenech and Claudia herself. She will also sing her latest single, Wild Flower, written by Aldo Spiteri and Deo Grech.

This event will be covered by Rai, Rtl 102.5 and Sky Italia.

In the next few days, Claudia Faniello will also be officially launching her new single, Wild Flower, in Malta. She describes this song as “a completely new Claudia Faniello. It’s a rockish piece – a ‘wild’ Claudia indeed”.

Wild Flower will be accompanied by a music video that will soon be shown on local music programmes as well in Italy and Romania.

Following her participation in the Crotone Music Show, on 21 July Claudia will leave for her second visit to Romania, where she will participate in a live one-hour concert with a Romanian rock band.

The concert will be held in Bistrita to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Bistrita football club.
