“Gifts of Desire” is the slogan chosen to describe Urban Culture – a new concept shop that just opened in Melita Street, Valletta. Even though Urban Culture can be considered a spin-off of the highly successful Urban Jungle retail chain, the shop aims to be different from everything that has already been done and seen on the island.

Urban Culture is the only place in Malta where one can find limited editions of Nike and Converse sneakers. “If Urban Jungle targets the sneaker lover, Urban Culture literally aims at the sneaker fanatic,” said Mr Grech, one of the franchisees of Urban Culture.

The new store also offers a wide choice of watches, jewellery and sunglasses from top brands such as CK, Morellato, D&G, Oakley, Fossil, Nike, Sector, Swatch, Breil and Esprit.

Every purchase is packed in an innovative outer box, which is perfect to give as a gift for any occasion.

What will undoubtedly attract the attention of the passers-by in Melita Street is the colourful and very innovative design of the shop interior. Products are displayed on attractive Plexiglas shelves decorated with animated flat screen TVs that are built into the shelving system itself.

Urban Culture is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 1pm and 4 to 7pm.
