HSBC has joined the long list of individuals and organisations who have helped raise money for the Ohloq Tbissima marathon.

A donation of Lm3,000 was presented to Ohloq Tbissima by HSBC Malta CEO Shaun Wallis.

Ohloq Tbissima Marathon 2007 was the fifth time this campaign has been organised, and this year raised over Lm101,000. The aim of the 60-hour broadcasting marathon was to raise money in aid of missionary activities in various places such as Peru, Pakistan and the Philippines, as well as St Joseph’s Home in Malta.

“HSBC is pleased to join many others in making a contribution to this worthy cause that provides so much care and help to many disadvantaged families and children in need around the world,” said Mr Wallis while making a donation to Fr Louis Mallia at the marathon.
