With reference to comments in certain sections of the media regarding the Pharmacy of Your Choice scheme, the Health Division said it wanted to clarify that services provided by pharmacies forming part of government health centres were professional.

In a statement issued yesterday, the Health Division insisted that chemists working at these pharmacies had always done their best to ensure that patients were served in the best possible manner.

The introduction of the Pharmacy of Your Choice scheme should further improve the service, the Health Division concluded.
