The first Air Malta flight to Benghazi after many years landed at Benghazi Airport on 26 June.

The first flight was received by country manager Tony Dalli from the Tripoli office together with Ragab el Fituri office manager of Mrawah Travel, Benghazi, that is the GSA of Air Malta Benghazi, at Tibesty Hotel.

The flight will operate twice weekly on Tuesday and Thursday between Benghazi and Malta connecting to various European and international airports. Air Malta is the only European airline flying in and out of Benghazi.
