In this book, André Zammit writes about his childhood in Gozo, his sojourns and travels abroad, the experiences he lived through and the numerous people, including public figures he met in his long and eventful career. Some of these appear in a different light from that in which they are conventionally stereotyped. The book contains 200 photos, some of them of historical interest, over 800 names listed in the index, 140 original limericks and 40 obiter dicta.
André Zammit is an Architect and Civil Engineer and studied in Malta, London and Milan. He worked for the government and in private practice and for nearly 30 years lectured at University. He is research-oriented and has written extensively on architectural and planning topics including the environment, traffic, housing and the rent laws.
