Gozo Minister Giovanna Debono has replied to a statement made by Opposition Leader Alfred Sant in which he said that Mrs Debono had lied in her reply to a supplementary question in parliament on Wednesday, 18 July.
In a statement, Mrs Debono said that her reply – stating that none of the employees working in her private secretariat were being investigated by the police for fraud – was correct.
She said Dr Sant was once again twisting the facts and
blatantly lying.
