The UK Institute of Credit Management (ICM) has made Josef Busuttil Honorary Fellow of the Institute. Mr Busuttil is director general of the Malta Association of Credit Management (MACM) and vice president of the Federation of European Credit Management Associations (FECMA).
The ICM represents the credit profession across trade, consumer and export credit, as well as in related activities such as collections, credit reporting, credit insurance and insolvency. A centre of expertise for all matters relating to credit management for more than 50 years, the ICM is the only such organisation accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) of the UK as an awarding body.
The ICM offers education programmes leading to Certificate and Diploma in Credit Management and MACM is the Accredited Training Centre of the ICM in Malta.
There are two levels of the Credit Management Education Programme – the ICM Certificate in Credit Management and the ICM Diploma in Credit Management
In Malta, part-time evening courses are offered by the Malta Association of Credit Management and the next intake of local students reading the ICM education programme at MACM Training Centre will be in October 2007.
Interested students will need to register at MACM Training Centre by not later than 15 September 2007.
