Malta Independent Thursday, 9 August 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

The Elegance of Valletta is the theme of this week’s BOV Streets Alive events being held in Valletta tomorrow.

The fine lines and luxury accessories of classic cars will grace Freedom Square in an exhibition of the finest vehicles to be built in the early half of the 20th Century. Ferrari cars, among the most desirable vehicles to own and drive and one of the ultimate status symbols of wealth and style in the world, will be on display in Palace Square. These sleek sporty models are sure to fascinate every spectator.

The Casino Maltese, considered as a national institution and a Gentleman’s Club where distinguished international personalities are entertained, will provide a perfect setting for a Ballroom Dancing Show at which highly trained dancers will give a display of the most elegant of dancing styles.

An international hair and fashion show by SYL designer wear and Thomas Hair Studio is being held in the Lower Barrakka Gardens. Top hair-stylists and fashion designers will come together to blend original garments and hair-styles into one unique show against the naturally spectacular backdrop provided by Grand Harbour.

Themed treasure hunts and discounted karozzin rides will compliment this evening of style.

BOV Streets Alive is an initiative of the Valletta Alive Foundation and is supported by Bank of Valletta. It is also supported by the Tourism and Culture Ministry, the Malta Tourism Authority and Allied Newspapers. The events start at 7pm.
