The Malta Transport Authority (ADT) said yesterday that it would like to thank the Civil Protection Department for its immediate response and action to extinguish a fire that had broken out at 11.45am in a hut situated at the lower level of the Floriana park and ride car park.
In a statement issued yesterday evening, the ADT said no damage had been caused by the fire and no one had been injured. Police are investigating to ascertain if the fire was set deliberately.
