Popular Italian singer Gigi d’Alessio was hosted at the newly inaugurated The Palace hotel in Sliema during his recent visit to Malta. This 5-star boutique hotel, the latest feather in the cap of the AX Group, was in fact one of the concert’s main sponsors.
Gigi D’Alessio, who was in Malta for the very successful concert held last Saturday on Manoel Island, was the first guest to stay in the unique Music Suite at The Palace.
Speaking about Gigi d’Alessio’s stay at The Palace, the hotel’s general manager Claire Xuereb said: “We are proud to have the music suite, which is unique on the island, being inaugurated by one of Italy’s finest singers. During his short stay, Mr d’Alessio commented favourably on the decor of this unique suite and the level of service offered by the hotel’s staff.”
The Music Suite’s design revolves entirely around the musical theme and includes state-of-the-art sound systems and fully functional instruments forming part of the décor.
It also has a soundproof headboard representing the walls of a recording studio. The musical concept is reproduced in various themes – even on the black and white tiled floors and walls in all the rooms, including the bathroom.
As a matter of fact, the 5-star The Palace boasts the only concept suites in Malta. These consist of six distinct designer suites with different and innovative themes, namely, View, Light, Flavour, Fragrance, Texture and Music. These elegantly furnished suites are inspired by the senses and offer different designs based on classical and contemporary lines aimed at offering guests an ultimate experience in hospitality exclusive to The Palace.
