Enemalta Corporation would like to inform members of the public that the “old” screw-on type of cylinder is gradually being phased out in favour of the “new” clip-on type valve, which is both safer and

easier to connect.

This change will have no effect on the quantity and availability of cylinders on the market.

In order for the changeover to proceed smoothly, the public is advised to cooperate with the local gas distributor before making any changes to either the gas regulator or the type and size of cylinder supplied by the same distributor.

In the meantime, some customers will be advised by their gas distributor to change their system from the “old” type regulator to the “new” type and begin receiving cylinders with the new type of valve.

This change will have no effect on the price of gas cylinders. In case of difficulty customers should call the following numbers:
