Two foreigners were arrested late on Thursday night after they were found in possession of drugs, according to the police. The men, a Sudanese and a Turkish man, both aged 20, were found in possession of cannabis resin during an investigation conducted by members of the Police Anti-Drug Squad.

The Sudanese man had been observed while he was selling the drug to the Turkish student, who was immediately stopped by police and found to be in possession of the drug.

The police then continued to follow the Sudanese man, who was observed while he made use of the place where he hid the drugs.

He was thus arrested and more drugs that were ready to be sold were seized.

Magistrate J. Padovani, who was informed about the case, appointed various experts to help conduct an inquiry.

Investigations by members of the Police Anti-Drug Squad are still under way.
